SUPPORT OUT:HERE – Crowdfunding
🌈 OUT:HERE Queer Šumava is an initiative that creates a safe space for marginalized communities, particularly LGBTQIA+ and environmental activists, to engage in eco-social transformation and healing, challenging heteronormative, capitalist structures, and promoting civic engagement through inclusive, regenerative practices and community-building.
As 2SLGBTQIA+ (queer) people have been historically overlooked, criminalized and marginalized, we have found refuge in a community where we can feel a sense of belonging, support and care for each other. This LGBTQIA+ centered space highlights the necessity to support queer folks in Central and Eastern Europe where queer rights are still far behind due to inequality, discrimination and the lack of support from the Czech government. With right-wing populism being on the rise in countries around the world, a queer understanding of ecology and resistance against oppressive systems is inseparable from the greater movements of eco-social justice and transformation, decolonial, anti-fascist, antiracist discourse, and movements for climate justice.

In a world where queer rights lag behind and societal structures often feel suffocating, with OUT:HERE we want to create a safe space for connection, healing, and learning. In August 2025 we will host a series of workshops and community gatherings that blend queer ecology with somatic practices, creative arts, and environmental activism. Our vision is to challenge oppressive systems and inspire a new understanding of coexistence among all beings — human and more-than-human. The program is taking place at the ArtMill Center for Regenerative Arts: www.artmill.eu
Your Support Matters! We believe that regeneration and social transformation begin within communities. However, we need your help to make this vision a reality. Your contributions will directly support our programing, ensuring lower fees and scholarships for marginalized participants, particularly LGBTQIA+, BIPoC, Roma and individuals from low-income backgrounds.
By donating to OUT:HERE you are not just funding a program; you are investing in a future where our community can thrive. Help us build bridges, share knowledge, and cultivate a regenerative community rooted in respect towards each other, our ecosystems and mutual care.
Stay tuned for more updates as we finalize our plans and prepare for an unforgettable experience in the heart of Europe.

By donating you are supporting the project and not purchasing a ticket to the program. If you are interested in participating in the project as a volunteer, don’t hesitate to reach out to us: gilles@artmill.eu
If we do not reach the target amount, all funds will be saved and used for planning the same program next year. This approach will allow us to continue supporting queer and marginalized communities, ensuring a safe space for eco-social transformation and regenerative processes in the coming years.
If we exceed our original fundraising goal, the extra funds will be used to cover the costs of additional scholarships for participants. This will enable us to support a broader group of participants, especially those from marginalized communities, and provide them with more opportunities to engage in the program.
Your support will allow us to grow and ensure the long-term sustainability of this important project for the future.
Thank you for being part of this journey towards a more inclusive future!
